Obi-Wan often comes out here to meditate, finding the clearing peaceful and solitary, and somehow better for his focus than his apartment has ever been. While he can meditate most anywhere, this has become a favourite place for him, a place to go where he can try to speak to Qui-Gon, even though the answer never comes.

Still, he can't give up. Master Yoda had been so certain Obi-Wan would be able to speak to Qui-Gon one day and so he must continue to try. There are certainly times here in Darrow when he could use his Master's guidance.

As he nears the valley, however, Obi-Wan can sense a presence. Usually he might turn away, find himself another place, but this presence is strong. Powerful. It reminds him a little of Anakin in moments he had been simmering at the edge of some larger emotion he was unable to control and Obi-Wan can't help but be curious as to the source. He continues on his path, catching sight of a young woman through the trees, bits of rock floating around her.

Obi-Wan stops, but his foot comes down on a branch at the same time, the sound of it snapping loud in the silence.
