She's never had to talk about her powers before and when it's come up, people have been less than understanding. It's been Vanya's (very limited) experience that anyone who wants to talk about her power wants something from her. If not something, they want answers and Vanya doesn't have any. With the exception of Klaus only just in the last few weeks, no one has ever talked to her about her power in a way where surprising could be a good thing.
