There is nothing Vanya could do to try and hide how the question makes her feel. Her gaze falters to the ground, brows knitting painfully for just a second. Offered to help her? Reginald Hargreeves took extreme, painstaking measures to try and ensure that Vanya would never understand he powers, because she needs to feel to use them and Reginald was unfeeling at best.
Again, she wants to tell him these things, but she can't. If he knows about the Academy on his own, he might worship her dad. If he doesn't, he might not believe her, or worse: think she's beyond help. This morning, she doesn't think she could take that.
He says his name and Vanya's head snaps up.
"Obi-Wan?" she echoes, her expression changing into something more familiar. "You're Obi-Wan?" She begins to close the distance between them. Once she's there, she looks all the way up at him and takes his hand.
"I'm Vanya. Hargreeves." She's never tacked her last name on for an introduction because it means something to so many people where she comes from and that has nothing to do with her. In this case, though, the name's context is something she very much wants to share. This man is dating her brother. He took care of him.
And if this man that Klaus is so crazy for doesn't care enough to know their last name, she will make sure he can't ever forget it.
