"Vanya," Obi-Wan echoes, relaxing into a warm, pleasant smile as he shakes her hand. The reason no one offered to help her as a child becomes clear in an instant, as Obi-Wan has heard stories from Klaus, as well as insinuations from all three of their other siblings when they had met. Their father wouldn't have helped her. He hadn't helped any of them.
From what he can gather, having met so many of them now, they all deserved better than what he offered them.
"I'm so glad to meet you," he says, meaning it utterly. Klaus has expressed more than once how important his siblings are to him and Obi-Wan knows their upbringing and their lives hadn't exactly been traditional, but then, by the standards of this place, neither had his. "I've been at the house once or twice, but we must have missed each other."
