"He tends not to share the more intimate details of your lives when it might give away things you may not be comfortable with a near stranger knowing, but when you hear of someone's father and the way he's been treated, you can't help but glean other details."
Their father had been cruel to Klaus. Allison had suggested he had been the same with her. Obi-Wan can only assume, based on this information, he hadn't been a particularly warm or helpful man with any of his other children.
"He's given minimal information on all of you, though," he's quite tp assure Vanya. "I think he felt everything each of you are capable of, the details of how you've used those powers, those weren't his stories to tell. So while I know you are all talented in your own particular ways, that your father trained you all to be.... superheroes, I think Klaus said, that's truly the extent of it."
