Her head tips down to look at the ground. It's more than she deserves that Klaus shows discretion on her behalf when Vanya's written a book about their lives. Things have changed so much that she sometimes forgets, but she shouldn't. The life they were given was unfair, but there are plenty of seeds sewn in the Hargreeves Family Garden that are Vanya's to reap.
"I wasn't trained," Vanya corrects gently, only able to raise her eyes for a second where she has to wink to keep the sun behind him from burning into her eyeballs. "Our dad wouldn't teach me. My powers are connected to my emotions; he wouldn't teach me how to use them." Somehow, she hopes that the rest of this story will be silent. Without saying, she wants him to just know the rest, even though there's no way he can. She'll tell him, but it's a lot and now that she knows this man is Obi-Wan, she feels like she shouldn't be making this about her.
