"I was born on a planet called Stewjon," he tells her as they walk, stepping over logs and stones until they reach a clear path that leads them back toward the road that will lead into the city. "But when I was a toddler I was brought to a planet called Coruscant, which is where I grew up and spent most of my time until my early teens."
At that point, he had become Qui-Gon's Padawan and they had left Coruscant regularly on whatever mission they had been assigned to. They had moved from planet to planet, depending upon what their assignment was, especially that year they had spent protecting Satine, constantly on the run.
He smiles over at Vanya and says, "I expect you haven't heard of either of these planets. Klaus certainly hadn't. I hadn't heard of Earth before coming here."
And although he knows many people here believe they're on some version of Earth, Obi-Wan isn't sure if he agrees with that. He doesn't have any other theories, though, and so he mostly tends to just accept what other people believe, filing it away, and moving on.
