Obi-Wan is desperately attractive and his laugh is a warming thing. Vanya is exhausted and raw and embarrassed by all that has transpired up to this point, but when she imagines the way Klaus must smile at him and the way he probably smiles back, those other things seem further away. Maybe a fear of not detecting dishonesty will always niggle at the back of her mind, but she is proof that resilience can creep in undetected, too. There was a part of her than wanted to die when she couldn't deny that "Leonard" wasn't who he said he was, but instead.
No. She shuts this out. Slowly, she is beginning to understand that this is no way to conduct herself in the long-term, but she's had enough exploding guilt for one day, thanks.

They're walking again and the closer the city gets, the more she feels like she can shake off what's happened this morning. She's going to have to answer to her family, but having met Obi-Wan, having talked about the things they talked about and knowing that he is going to help her makes all of that a little less nerve-wracking.
