"You do," Viktor assures Nathan with a bemused smile, "You just didn't know it yet." In Viktor's experience this far, people have usually figured it out by now. Nathan is blunt and self-centered, but he's not a bigot. The man is simply allergic to niceties. In their strange way, they've earned each other's trust. From this cultivates an extra dose of patience.
